Semester thus far...

So this year of 2009, I am now 20 years old to be exact, and let me tell you its weird.

Basically God has been dealing with me in some weird ways, especially through the literature I am reading for some of my Bible classes. I know that God is the God I know and love as my Lord and Savior, but the insight these books give is very thought provoking. I would encourage anyone willing to read some literature on theology if they have the time to read

"Theology for the Community of God"

Anyways its a great book. At least great in the sense of intrinsic knowledge great. Well i am turning in for the night, I'm pretty tired and yeah well GOd Bless all

Break...

Christmas Break...

Well its great being home again, but I'm not going to say it easy. I know that being away from all of my bros back on K2S isn't easy. I really miss being at school, but again its great being home. I understand that there is strength in being in fellowship brothers in Christ, possibly more now than ever. I have to keep pressin on realizing that I have a goal to follow what God desires for me to do. I do my best, but its like lately its been without dependence on him, and that is when life hits hardest. So I will enjoy Christmas, and keep on doing my best, to follow his will.

Higgins, and Christmas

So in a nutshell there is a nut, under the peel of a fruit there is a delicious treat.

Higgins was a great time this year. K2S was in a prime condition for all of Evangel's campus to join us for the celebration of a little boy named Tom Higgins. 

I learned a lot this semester, first of all being that I need to make sure I do not over commit myself to things that are not necessarily benefitting others as well as myself. I have to really analyze the way I spend my time. If I find that I become to busy to spend time with God I need to really look into my priorities. That was me this semester. I really struggled to make time for Christ in my life. I will continue to fight the fight, walk the walk, and follow His lead as best I can. This life is a blessing, everyday I live. I need to live, walk, and talk like I believe that. I hope that I can continue to encourage with every word I write in this blog. God Has done a great work in my life this year, and I can only credit him, because I threw away a lot of chances to do the right thing, and yet I am still here. By His grace alone.

This Semester Closes...

In a nut shell...

This semester has been a rough academic semester, but in short; I've learned a lot about life. God has shown me more of who i am becoming and who I need to start becoming. I genuinely feel that I've grown in various ways this semester as well as maybe taken a few steps back in some areas. But I hope that I can put the lessons into my mind for the future.

Ok so basically I am really excited about what God is doing in my life so far. I really can't wait to see his plans for the Evangel University campus. God is already doing great things, I have been reading more since I got to school, so that is good. I pray that anyone reading these posts is encouraged in knowing that God can help them through any circumstance as he has helped me, go in peace and do right in his eyes
